Senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa today announced the intention of Indian Regional Parties Front (IRPF) to form alliances in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the Assembly elections.

“A plan of action has been chalked out with consensus to form a political alliance with all regional forces of the country which must be inclusive in nature and represent the deprived or discriminated and marginalised sections” said Dhindsa. Only few sections of society had all the say in administrative, judicial, religious and economic system of the country, he claimed.
While Dhindsa is the patron of the IRPF, Ilyas Azmi, a former MP, is its Chairman. Naba Kumar Saraniya, Member of Parliament from Assam, and Ali Mohd Maaz, an advocate, are its co-conveners. — TNS
