A retired head constable allegedly murdered his wife last night in Sangrur city. The police have arrested the accused. “Malkiat Singh, who retired as a head constable, murdered his wife Harpal Kaur last night with a sharp-edged weapon. He suspected that his wife was having an affair. We have arrested him and conducting probe,” said SHO Pritpal Singh. — TNS
