Ropar, April 13
The police are yet to find any clue to the culprits who killed three members of a family here yesterday. The authorities are focusing on tracing the missing son of the victims.
The decomposed bodies of a man, his wife and their medico daughter were found at their home in Power Colony last evening. The deceased were identified as Harcharan Singh (62), his wife Paramjit Kaur (60) and their daughter Charanpreet Kaur (30). Charanpreet Kaur was posted as a medical officer at Bhai Jaita Ji Civil Hospital, Anandpur Sahib.
The incident occurred at least two days ago. Harcharan Singh’s son Prabhjot, who was reportedly suffering from depression, has not been seen since April 9. The police were probing the case from all angles and efforts were on to trace Prabhjot Singh, said Ropar SSP Sandeep Garg. —
