Fazilka, December 19
The Fazilka State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) police station claimed to have seized 13-kg heroin worth Rs 65 crore.
The consignment has been recovered from four persons who have been arrested under the NDPS Act by the police. According to an FIR registered in the SSOC police station, on a tip-off, a police party led by Sumitpal Singh conducted a raid at the house of Fauza Singh in Chhota Gulaba village in Fazilka district.
The police have arrested Amrik Singh, Rajinder Singh, Kulwant Singh, all residents of Ferozepur district, and Fauza Singh. — OC
