The Shiromani Akali Dal, which parted ways with the BJP after remaining part of the alliance for three decades, today rubbed it in by congratulating regional parties for their victory against the NDA led by the saffron party in the West Bengal and Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
SAD chief Sukhbir Badal greeted TMC chief Mamata Banerjee for her party’s victory in West Bengal and MK Stalin for DMK’s electoral feat in Tamil Nadu. Bathinda MP Harsimrat Badal also posted congratulatory messages. — TNS
