Bathinda, September 17
Members of Sant Samaj, Guru Granth Sahib Satkar Committee, religious and social organisations and panthic outfits will visit the national capital on September 23 and September 25 and hold ‘fateh march’ in support of farmers protesting the three farm laws.
This was announced by heads of these organisations during a press conference in Bathinda on Friday. Union leaders said the Centre had maintained a “questionable silence” over the issue of farm laws. “We have been supporting the farmers’ agitation for long but now we have decided to visit the protest venue to extend full support to make the Centre budge,” they said. — TNS
