Mohali, July 7
The State Task Force (STF), Ropar Range, has arrested two constables posted in Mohali with bribe money and heroin.
The accused have been identified as Guriqbal Singh and Dalbir Singh.
Harpreet Singh, AIG, STF, Ropar Range, said the two constables had been arrested with heroin and Rs 19,000 as bribe money.
He said the constables had apprehended a drug peddler and let him off after taking a bribe from him by claiming that they were from the STF.
A case has been registered at the STF police station in Phase 4, Mohali.
