Sangrur: The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of the district police has confiscated 300-kg poppy husk and arrested three persons. ASI Jaswinder Singh said on a tip-off, they arrested the three suspects, identified as Parmjit Singh, Devinder Singh and Mohd Aasif, near Thaman Singh Wala. “We have seized 300 kg of poppy husk from the suspects. Further investigations are on,” ASI Jaswinder Singh said. — TNS
