Five days after three suspicious persons visited the residence of Bargari sacrilege accused and Dera Sacha Sauda follower Shakti Singh in Daggo Romana village here, the police have registered a criminal case against the trio for the alleged offence of trespassing and attempt to steal.
While nobody has been arrested, the police have nominated two persons by name in the FIR. The accused belong to Jiwan Wala village of Faridkot. Singh is one of the eight dera followers arrested in three sacrilege cases this year. Currently, he is out on bail. The visit of three suspected persons is being seen as a threat to his life as some banned outfits have threatened to kill sacrilege accused. — TNS
