Two-day ICSSR seminar concludes at MBU

The two-day national seminar ‘Integrating AYUSH with community medicine: A framework for holistic and sustainable public health in India’ (IACMI2026), sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), concluded at the Mohan Babu University (MBU) campus here on Wednesday.

During expert presentations on the second day, Rajan from CMPRH (Ministry of AYUSH, Ooty), P. Savithramma from SV University and Sathiya Rajeswaran from CCRS, Puducherry, spoke on the relevance of traditional knowledge systems, integrative healthcare approaches and the importance of strengthening collaboration among various healthcare disciplines to achieve sustainable public health outcomes.

MBU registrar K. Saradhi, Dean (School of Engineering) Babu Devasenapati commended the efforts of MB School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the organisers in making the event a success.

Several participants presentations and the best individuals in their respective categories received prizes.

Seminar chair M.R. Jeyaprakash and convener Radha Ravi emphasised the need to integrate AYUSH systems with community medicine for achieving optimum results.
