Sangrur, August 28
Unemployed members of the BEd and TET Pass Union today protested against Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla at Phagguwala. The minister was here to attend a function. He said his government had taken all possible steps to help farmers and the unemployed.
Some farmers also opposed his visit to Rampura. They alleged the state government had not been supporting them in their protest against the central farm laws. “I interacted with 140 students and their parents today and sought their suggestions on how to further improve the education system,” said Singla. — TNS
