Asking opposition parties to refrain from promising freebies which the Punjab couldn’t afford, state BJP president Ashwani Sharma today said the party would not make false promises and would instead give the state a roadmap for progress.
Accusing AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal of misleading the public with his poll promises, Sharma said: “The BJP would not merely come out with a manifesto, it would also have a commitment plan wherein progress and equal opportunity for every citizen would be the primary duty of the government.” — TNS
