As many as 4,875 people remain missing, including 583 foreigners, a week after the disaster, according to Nepal Police.

Security forces, including the Nepal Army, have so far rescued 11,993 people using helicopters and land routes, while around 21,314 personnel have been deployed for search-and-rescue operations.
