According to the NIA’s chargesheet, Umer Un Nabi was the operational in-charge of a terror module linked to Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind and played a central role in preparing the attack. The agency alleges that the vehicle used in the Red Fort blast was converted into a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED), with Nabi activating the IED from inside the car.The NIA investigation has examined encrypted communications, extremist material, clandestine meetings and the alleged procurement of weapons, funds and explosives.
