Malerkotla, May 3
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday stressed the need to improve education and health facilities in the state.
He was addressing a gathering after he joined the Malerkotla Idgah in the Eid celebrations.
“Malerkotla has got the district status, but it’s still without basic amenities,” Mann said.
“We need to improve our education and health facilities. I do not want to make unrealistic promises. We will conduct audit of all funds used by the previous governments,” he said.
Mann said that in the coming days, Punjab would see a positive change in the working of bureaucracy.
The CM assured the required grant for Malerkotla’s development.
