Chandigarh, July 9
Three officials have been suspended by the Punjab government after a video of re-carpeting a road in Hoshiarpur in heavy rains had gone viral.
The Punjab Department of Public Works suspended Tarsam Singh, sub divisional engineer, Vipan Kumar, junior engineer and Jasbir Singh, also a junior engineer.
A random man in the video is seen asking the workers how they were re-carpeting the road in the rain.
He also questioned if the work done in such a condition would be passed by the government.
